Jeld-Wen Inc. has undergone a string of layoffs in recent months, the latest of which is set to take place in Oregon. The company filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) with the Oregon HECC Office of Workforce Investments on Thursday, May 1, announcing the impending closure of its plant in Chiloquin. The closing will displace 128 workers. According to Katie Lykins, Jeld-Wen’s external communications manager, production will be moved to other facilities.
