The Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration, working with auction house Bonhams has launched a special fundraising auction of original artwork by Quentin Blake. The collection of works in Airborne reflect Quentin’s longstanding fascination with flight and features airborne characters, flying machines and birds. Lancashire County Council is on the lookout for the country’s best landscape artists in its annual Lancashire Artist of the Year competition. The judges want to see paintings, sketches, collages, lino prints or even embroideries depicting your favourite view of Lancashire in spring, summer, autumn or winter.
