Empowerment Ave News
We strive to make it standard practice to feature artists and writers who are currently incarcerated in mainstream settings. This involves closing the gap and enhancing the capacity of publications, galleries, museums, and other organizations dedicated to this important work. Our focus is on establishing support systems that allow incarcerated creatives to showcase their work beyond prison walls, receive fair compensation, and actively participate in the abolition movement and the fight for the freedom of incarcerated individuals. Empowerment Ave News serves as a platform to keep our community of incarcerated writers, our volunteer team on the outside, and those interested in the movement informed. Sign up for updates on our newest stories, artwork, and events.
