Enumclaw Courier-Herald
The Enumclaw Courier-Herald is a newspaper located in Enumclaw, Washington, created in 1933 through the merger of two earlier publications: the Enumclaw Courier, which had been in circulation since 1900, and the Enumclaw Herald, which started in 1908. Kevin Hanson served as the editor from 2001 until early 2012, when Dennis Box took over the editorial position. In 2003, Bill Marcum was the publisher of the paper. In August 2010, it was announced that Marcum would be departing from the Courier-Herald to take on the role of regional manager for Nickel Ads in Portland, Oregon, starting in September. Subsequently, Brennan Purtzer became the publisher in October of that year, but he left the position in March 2012.
