I’m digging cargo bib shorts these days. With the added storage capability — both during and before/after riding — it’s just nice to be able to stash a few small items. The 2025 PEARL iZUMi Expedition PRO Bib Shorts are now built with more durable fabric and feature a zippered leg pocket. The DNA is similar, but how do they compare on the bike with the original model I tested in 2022?

I’ve personally tested the last three iterations of the Cannondale Synapse. In all honesty, it’s been a wonderful bike in each version, but after testing the latest SuperSix EVO, I was wondering if the Synapse would even be necessary in Cannondale’s vast lineup. I mean, you could just put slicks on the new SuperX and call it an endurance bike. However, after learning more about the changes made to the 2025 Synapse, along with its capabilities and performance, I’m 100% here for it.

Natural fabrics and fibers are where it’s at. I love the sustainability and the feel of Merino Wool shirts and choose to wear them as often as I can. The Mammut Tree Wool FL long sleeve has been my go-to since arriving for review. I not only wear it trail running and hiking, but almost every day — so much that my family is now wondering if I have any other shirts to wear. My personal wardrobe choices aside, Mammut has a winner and it’s not only comfortable, but it’s also well-priced.
