FINA

FINA and its various aquatic sports play a crucial role in the Olympic Movement, significantly enhancing the overall success of the Games. Swimming has been a part of the Olympic events since 1896, while Water Polo was introduced as the first team sport in the Olympics in 1900. Diving followed in 1904. Fast forward to 1984, Synchronised Swimming became a part of the Olympic lineup, and since 2008, Marathon Swimming, which includes a 10km race for both men and women, has also been featured in the Games.
