Food Insight

Established in 1985, the International Food Information Council (IFIC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to sharing science-backed information about food safety and nutrition. Its goal is to inform health and nutrition experts, educators, government representatives, journalists, and others who relay information to consumers, mainly in the United States. The organization is funded by a diverse range of sectors within the food, beverage, and agricultural industries. It's important to note that IFIC does not advocate for any specific products or companies, nor does it engage in lobbying for laws or regulations.
