GateWorld
For over two decades, GateWorld has been your go-to source for all things Stargate as an independent fan-run site. It all started on October 22, 1999, when Showtime aired the memorable third-season episode of Stargate SG-1 titled “Jolinar’s Memories.” In Chicago, Darren Sumner, a passionate sci-fi enthusiast and web hobbyist, was already hooked on the show, enjoying it every Friday night with his newlywed wife. When Apophis emerged from the shadows, it sparked an idea: a dedicated website was needed to track the intricate details of a show that is not only entertaining but also boasts excellent writing and production, along with a strong respect for its own storylines and character arcs.
