Eastern Plains Economic Development Corporation and the Glendive Chamber were recently awarded a collective $6,700 in grant funding: $4,700 to use toward a local beautification effort and $2,000 for community meeting infrastructure. Following a ReImagining Rural session earlier this year, a group of local participants decided to intentionally focus on work they can do to make Glendive look more attractive to the traveling public, particularly along Merrill Avenue.

The Glendive City Council on Tuesday unanimously passed a resolution to amend State Revolving Fund Loan amount issued by the Montana Department of Resource Conservation in order to help cover increased costs for completing a large citywide water and sewer infrastructure upgrade project.
