ROADWORKS on South Beach Road in Brunswick Heads will ramp up in coming weeks as Byron Shire Council closes the Torakina car park for the next phase of a $2.7 million upgrade. Following recent works on drainage, kerbs and gutters on the western side of the road, the focus is now shifting to the foreshore side. Two construction crews will be working simultaneously to excavate the road shoulder, install new kerbs and gutters, and upgrade drainage infrastructure.
