When visiting The Red Bank Restaurant you’ll immediately feel at ease with a bright airy dining room that has loads of natural light and plenty of space to enjoy your meal. There are two main menus to choose from which include a Table D’Hôte Menu and an A La Carte Menu. When we visited we ordered off the A La Carte menu and were delighted with the variety and choice that was provided. More so, the menu itself was animated with a wealth of local produce proudly displayed on each dish where relevant.

Buddy’s Farm Shop is a state-of-the-art Farmers Market store located on the site of Seed Potato. Seed Potato was established by Andrew ‘Buddy’ Mathews (Maurice’s Dad) in the early 1980’s. Today, Buddy’s is in the expert care of Andrew’s son Maurice who has grown the business to new heights. The Mathews Family were potato traders and still are. Maurice’s Dad Andrew is known as ‘Buddy’ by everybody and this was the inspiration for the name of the new retail store.

Snaffles Restaurant is the main dining space at Castle Leslie Estate. Decorated in rich earthy tones, you’ll notice the restaurant is dotted with charming equestrian motifs which once again pay a loving tribute to Castle Leslie Estate’s history as a centre of equestrian excellence. These motifs are found in the fabric of dining benches and even in a centre piece art installation which depicts the bust of a horse.
