Colt Offers Free Gun Safety Classes in Georgia

In a tip of the hat to the gun-friendly Peach State, Colt Manufacturing announced late last month that it will be fully funding Georgia’s "Give It a Shot" program. Created by Georgia’s Department of Natural Resources, the program provides hands-on firearms training with certified instructors to Georgia residents. Colt’s contribution will make enrollment free for eligible residents over 12 months via the company’s Colt Safety Scholarship. Residents can apply online at coltsafe.com.
