Todd Butler struck out six allowing only three hits to get the win. Garrett Mitchill came on in the 7th inning to pick up the save. Elfreich had an RBI single in the 6th for Cromwell. HKHS next plays at home against Morgan on April 14, 2025.

The match was played on the HKHS courts with Chase Smalley teaming with Joe Lucero to remain undefeated at the number one doubles slot. Newcomers Matt Perry and Jackson Smith paired with veteran team members AJ Livingston and Larson McLaughlin to win the other doubles matches.

The new line will be installed in parts of Haddam and East Haddam and will allow Eversource to enhance communications between its electrical substations.

Haddam’s Historic Cemeteries Need More Volunteers

Six of these cemeteries have volunteer boards that work to maintain them, but five others have been essentially abandoned. This effort to preserve our heritage is valued by many, but volunteers are needed. For example, Thirty Mile Island Plantation was the original English name of what is now known as Haddam.
