Harvard Independent
Harvard is not our landlord, and our reporting isn’t limited by the fast-paced news cycle. We don’t adhere to any single ideology in our editorials. The Indy was established in 1969 in response to student protests that highlighted the need for a more balanced media landscape. A group of undergraduate students founded us, many of whom have since contributed to some of the country’s top publications and launched significant media platforms. Since our inception, we have been dedicated to offering alternative perspectives and a thorough approach to every topic we cover.

Close to 400 pieces from 242 artists, all Harvard University staff members, were submitted to be displayed in person for this year’s four shows. The first show took place from March 11 to March 26 and offered Harvard staff an avenue to display their artistic talents, from oil paintings to knitted hats to woodwork clocks.
