I’ve been following the growing hype around ‘Extreme Day Trips’ for several years now. The concept is that you travel to and explore a new destination in under 24 hours. So when I saw the perfect flights to Dublin for under £27, I jumped at the chance to experience an Extreme Day Trip of my own. Despite some unexpected problems (I mean, what is even the shortest trip if it doesn’t have issues?), I had the most fantastic time. So much so that I’m already planning my second EDT for later in the year.
