    Rescuers have drilled about halfway through fallen debris to reach 41 workers trapped for ten days inside a collapsed tunnel in the Indian Himalayas, an official said on Wednesday. The men have been stuck in the 4.5-km (3-mile) tunnel in Uttarakhand state since it caved in early on November 12 and are safe, authorities have said, with access to light, oxygen, food, water and medicines.

    Emerging markets will need US$1.5 trillion in investment before 2035 to make new and existing buildings environmentally friendly and avoid a jump in climate-damaging emissions, a top economist at the World Bank’s private finance arm has told Reuters.     China-based OEM LiuGong has sold its crawler dozer factory in Stalowa Wola, Poland, back to Huta Stalowa Wola (HSW), the company it acquired the Dressta dozer business and manufacturing plant from in 2012. LiuGong is retaining ownership of the Dressta intellectual property and is transferring manufacture of these products to a new factory in Changzhou, China, with the capacity to build 3,000 units per year.
