Ipswich select board taps a blast from the past to serve as interim town manager

This will be Younger’s second stint as Ipswich’s interim manager. He last held the position in 2012, filling the gap between outgoing manager Robert Markel and incoming manager Robin Crosby.

However, conditions are improving state wide. Just over one-fifth (20.53%) of Massachusetts now has no drought, the USDM update said. It measures conditions for the week ending at 7 a.m. Tuesday and releases its reports on Thursday.

They pointed to a drought-restrictions banner overhead and said the town’s ability to supply water is one of their main concerns. Town meeting starts at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, at the Dolan Performing Arts Center.
