Applications are now open for membership to the PSI’s Disciplinary Committees for Chairs/Acting Chairs and for Registered Pharmacists who are Pharmacy Owners. As part of its role to protect the public, the PSI is responsible for handling complaints about registered pharmacists and pharmacies. The complaints process is set out in legislation in Part 6 of the Pharmacy Act 2007.

The deadline has almost arrived for registered pharmacists to make nominations for positions on the PSI Council. There will be five pharmacists completing their current terms as Council members with the PSI in June this year. The nomination period closes at 12pm tomorrow, 19 March 2025. The Council is made up of people from a variety of backgrounds who come to serve on the Council via a variety of routes.
