Vinspire Academy has
joined forces with Wine Spirit Women to launch a new annual scholarship for
women working in Ireland’s drinks industry. The Vinspire Academy x Wine Spirit Women Spirits
Scholarship will offer one member of the Wine Spirit Women network a fully
funded WSET Level 1 in Spirits course every year. This internationally
recognised qualification aims to increase professional knowledge of spirits.

In
the small village of Killincarraig, nestled between Greystones and Delgany, in
a 200-year-old cottage you will find a brand-new wine/coffee shop run by Balázs
Rakamazi and his business partner Josh Fitzpatrick Cousy. Josh
is no stranger to the wine business, having previously worked for the wonderful Joel Durand in Blackrock Cellar, for twelve years.

stopped in the other day and was very impressed by what was on offer.

Thanks to the team from Spanish Tourism Office and Saborea España (Tasting Spain) for some great hospitality at Taste of Dublin this weekend. It was fun to celebrate World Tapas Day (Friday 13th June), with Sara Rivero and her guests from Lanzarote, Cambrils and Zaragoza. Four award winning Spanish chefs demonstrated their signature tapas and offered a Spanish culinary tour. We enjoyed a glass of Cava and some lovely white prawns in a delicious bisque sauce during our visit.
