Journal of Narrative Theory
The Journal of Narrative Theory is an academic journal that is peer-reviewed and published three times a year. It focuses on the study of narratology within literary fiction. Originally founded in 1971 under the name Journal of Narrative Technique, it was rebranded to its current title in 1999. The journal is produced by the English Department at Eastern Michigan University, with Abby Coykendall and Andrea Kaston Tange serving as the editors-in-chief. Monika Fludernik highlights it in her book, An Introduction to Narratology, as one of the leading journals in this area of study.
