At Binx, a new wine bar in the West Village that has a disco ball, a ton of orange wines, ceramic wall creatures, and something I’ve been noticing a lot lately: Sabre Bistrot flatware. It used to be rare to spot the French forks at a restaurant, but lately I’ve clocked the cutlery at Pitt’s in Red Hook, F&F Pizzeria in Carroll Gardens, and even at Cafe Mamo in Grand Rapids, MI.
