Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum has announced the first identification of a Tulsa Race Massacre victim since the City started the physical part of its 1921 Graves Investigation five years ago. The identification is a man by the name of C. L. Daniel, a World War 1 U.S. Army Veteran whose next of kin’s DNA is tied with Burial 3 from the 2021 excavation at Oaklawn Cemetery.

If you were affected by last night's tornado outbreak and need a place to go the American Red Cross has a temporary shelter open for residents displaced by the storms at the Memorial Heights Baptist Church at 1500 W. Will Rogers Blvd in Claremore. Red Cross disaster workers are also distributing meals, snacks, water and emergency supplies in Claremore and Pryor after last night's tornado. Langston University police are calling it an 'isolated' incident and they say a person of interest is in custody. They say the shooting was the result of an altercation that originated OFF campus, and then it carried over ONTO campus where the shot was fired. Police say the student sustained a non-life threatening injury and was treated and released.
