Vibe
Vibe is a music and entertainment magazine that was established by the famous producer Quincy Jones. It primarily highlights R&B and hip-hop artists, as well as actors and other entertainers. After ceasing production in the summer of 2009, Vibe was acquired by InterMedia Partners, a private equity investment firm. The magazine is now published twice a month and features double covers, alongside a stronger online presence. Its main audience consists of young, urban enthusiasts of hip-hop culture. In 2014, Vibe transitioned to an exclusively online format.
