Katherine Cole

Katherine is a recognized author of five books centered around wine and is actively engaged in various fields, including communications, digital media, journalism, and branding. Her work has earned her prestigious accolades like the James Beard Award and the IACP Award. Additionally, she was a finalist for the Louis Roederer International Wine Writer award and made it to the “Imbibe 75” list, which highlights influential figures and trends in the drinking world. As the Creator, Executive Producer, and Host of The Four Top, Katherine addresses key topics relevant to the wine and food sectors. This acclaimed podcast, which she launched in 2016, is available on platforms such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts, among others. Currently, Katherine serves as the Communications Director at Vin Agency, a creative agency focused on high-end wineries. Before that, she contributed to numerous national and international food and wine publications, held the position of contributing editor at SevenFifty Daily, and wrote a wine column for The Oregonian. Katherine graduated from Harvard College and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She is part of the Circle of Wine Writers and Les Dames d’Escoffier International. Additionally, she actively participates as a board member and volunteer for Portland Backpack.
