KCMP, also referred to as 89.3 The Current, is a radio station that operates at 89.3 FM and is part of Minnesota Public Radio (MPR). It features a AAA music format with a strong emphasis on showcasing local musicians. The station is licensed to Northfield, Minnesota, and its transmitter is strategically positioned between Northfield and Saint Paul, allowing it to broadcast at 97,600 watts and cover a large portion of the Twin Cities area as well as regions to the south and east. Additionally, KCMP's programming is available on KMSE in Rochester at 88.7 MHz and through various translators across Minnesota.
