All these Duluth stations operate from the same studio, located at 715 East Central Entrance, which is situated up the hill from downtown.

    ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) – The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is expanding spring burning restrictions in the state. Beginning Tuesday the restrictions on open burning of vegetative debris will apply to Carlton, Itasca and southern St. Louis Counties and starting next Monday in Cook, Lake, Koochiching and northern St. Louis Counties. The DNR will not issue permits for open burning of brush or yard waste in those counties until restrictions are lifted.

    DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – A 42 year old Duluth man is facing a variety of charges for several incidents early on Monday morning. The man allegedly was running down the hallway of the Zenith apartment building on the 200 block of North 1st Avenue East with a fire extinguisher and pulled the fire alarm. He then broke into an apartment, stole a firearm and discharged it in the hallway before fleeing. Officers saw him hiding among the residents evacuating the building and he discarded the firearm.

    DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Two residents of an apartment damaged by a fire Sunday night in Duluth have been displaced. The Duluth Fire Department was called to a commercial space at 2204 Piedmont Avenue with an apartment located above it. Smoke was coming from the back side of the upper floor and the tenants had evacuated safely and no injuries were reported. The fire did an estimated 80 thousand dollars in damage and the cause is being investigated by the Duluth Fire Marshal.
