The station’s transmitter is situated in Shoreview, utilizing KMSP-TV's tower, and it broadcasts with an effective radiated power of 98,000 watts, which includes beam tilt. KFXN-FM serves as the flagship station for several major sports teams, including the Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Golden Gophers football, and Minnesota Wild hockey.
