Hill ran unopposed for a four-year term on the Board of Commissioners and was sworn in on Dec. 19, 2024. She stated that she is leaving her leadership role because she is moving out of town. Hill also served as the chair of the Planning Commission.

Summer has officially started in Kingston Springs, with the town launching its annual Food Truck Monday Series and Farmers and Artisans Market. Food Truck Monday began in 2023 as another way to gather the community and enjoy local artists. Similar to last year, the first Food Truck Monday of 2025 was met with a rainy start, but that didn't stop locals from coming out.
