Bishop Sis will attend the funeral mass for Pope Francis on April 26.

A false shooting report leads to swatting investigation in San Angelo. Police are investigating after responding to a false report of multiple shooting victims. Police officers responded to a false report of multiple shooting victims in the 2100 block of Pecan Street shortly after 2 p.m. on Monday. Officers arrived and contacted the occupants of the residence, who cooperated with the investigation. Police determined that the initial 911 call was false and believe it was a swatting incident.
