The ban is in place for all of Grand Forks County and the City of Grand Forks. The Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Office and rural Grand Forks County Fire Departments have been responding to several fires that have gotten out of control. Nobody should set on fire any object outdoors. This includes the burning of trees, grass, leaves and ditches.

This phase covers most of the properties adjacent to the east side of Highway 81 from 27th Avenue North up to 33rd Avenue North. It also includes several properties along the north end of Mill Road. This project will provide water service and fire protection to the properties adjacent to the project.

Jim Kasper, R-Fargo, returned to Fargo on May 8 to continue his recovery after being hospitalized during the closing days of the legislative session. Republican District 46 Chair Rob Muntz said Kasper suffered a brain bleed on April 23 and was transported to CHI-St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck, where he stayed until Thursday.
