PBS SoCal and KCET serve as the main PBS stations for over 19 million residents in six varied counties in Southern California. They are part of the Public Media Group of Southern California, which came into existence after the merger of PBS SoCal and KCETLink Media Group in 2018. Our mission is to deliver content and experiences that inspire, educate, and entertain across different platforms, including television, online, community events, and educational settings. As a local non-profit organization supported by its members, nearly 50% of our funding comes from more than 100,000 individuals—people just like you.
