The last weekend of May brings us into Memorial Day on Monday. It's generally the weekend that most people and businesses open their pools. I guess it's the unofficial opening to Summer. While the suspect was still inside Walmart, Police took a visual on the suspects vehicle. They observed evidence of drugs in the car. An unbelievable saga unfolded on I-90 Wednesday night as Washington State Patrol arrested two brothers in separate high speed chases. At about 8:20 pm, troopers attempted to pull over a Honda Civic on westbound I-90 for improper merging. After a Pursuit Immobilization Technique (PIT) maneuver, the high speed chase went on until the car stopped on an eastbound I-90 ramp. The Honda lost a tire and spun out on an off-ramp facing the wrong way.

I warn you, the story of Tilly will bring you all the emotions. The 16-year old otter was euthanized after her health was declining in her old age. In 2009, Tilly was rescued as an orphan. She was named after the Tillamook River. Tilly was found near Johnson Creek after an animal attack and severely malnourished. The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife transported hr to the Oregon Zoo. She won the zoo's "Mom of the Year" award in 2013. She raised her own pups, Mo, Ziggy, Tucker, and Nellie.

Yes, this is the Blue Bridge river path in Pasco! It’s super disheartening to see this much litter. For years, I have walked, jogged, and ridden my bike on the river paths in Pasco, and there’s never been a time that I’ve seen it this bad. It’s been pooped on, tagged, littered with garbage, and pooped on again. On top of that, it’s become a mini-bike racetrack at all hours of the day and night (cue the angry old guy comments).

A Washington man was sentenced to 144 months in prison for distribution of child sexual abuse material. United States District Judge Thomas O. Rice imposed a lifetime of supervised release for 43-year old Donald Eugene Griffin Jr., who will also be required to register as a sex offender.
