A 14-year old is lucky to be alive after high-speed chase with Othello Police Officers. On Sunday, June 1st, at about 1:49 am, Officers witnessed a 2003 black Chevrolet Trailblazer speeding through a 35-mph zone. Police suspected the driver was under the influence. As an officer got behind the vehicle, they noted additional signs of impairment, consistent with DUI. As the Officer approached the driver's side, the vehicle suddenly sped away from the stop.

We knew it was coming. Rite Aid has made the announcement of closing of nearly 500 stores nationwide, including 24 in Washington, and 20 in Oregon. Rite Aid Shares Plunge After the Company Lowered Its Year's OutlookRite Aid filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in May, the second filing since 2023, for the pharmaceutical chain. In the last few weeks, Rite Aid had said it planned to keep stores open for the next few months, while selling off assets.

Richland Police Department-FacebookOne suspect was arrested after a burglary at the Swift Stop in Richland. On Tuesday at 3:15 am, Police were dispatched to the business at 2110 Swift Boulevard. Officers found the front door was shattered. Inside, it was discovered that the cash register, lottery scratch-off tickets, and cigarettes were stolen. Video Surveillance Showed 3 Suspects in a Black Nissan Altima Were Involved. Duct tape was covering the license plate.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) made the announcement today that Hormel Foods is recalling 256,185 pounds of a popular canned beef stew. The problem was discovered after the establishment notified FSIS that they had received three consumer complaints reporting pieces of wood in the beef stewproduct.
