    SUTHERLIN POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOLLOWING ALLEGED ROADWAY INCIDENTJune 27, 2025 10:30 a.m.  Sutherlin Police jailed a woman following a roadway incident on Thursday. An SPD report said at about 3;00 p.m. the 47-year-old was taken into custody for allegedly throwing things in the roadway in the 700 block of Hastings Avenue. She had reportedly also been dancing in the roadway, stripping off her clothing and blocking traffic.

    June 27, 2025 10:10 a.m.   Sutherlin Police jailed a man for theft and trespass charges on Thursday. An SPD report said on Tuesday afternoon, neighbors allegedly caught the 18-year-old and another male taking a bike out of a victim’s carport in the 1200 block of East Central Avenue. The suspects dropped the bike and ran. Both were reportedly seen on video leaving the trailer park. Thursday morning just after 10:00 a.m. an officer located the suspect, knowing there was probable for his arrest.

    SUTHERLIN POLICE JAIL FUGITIVE FOR FELONY WARRANTJune 27, 2025 9:50 a.m. Sutherlin Police jailed a fugitive for a felony warrant early Friday. An SPD report said just before 1:00 a.m. the 68-year-old was called in at a motel in the 100 block of Myrtle Street. Staff said the transient was making guests uncomfortable and they wanted him to move along. The man was not a paid guest at the motel. Dispatch advised the man had the warrant for failure to appear.
