KRBD-FM (Ketchikan, AK)

KRBD aims to keep our listeners informed, educated, entertained, and engaged through a mix of national, state, and local news broadcasts. We offer a variety of national programs that are both entertaining and educational, along with a diverse selection of locally produced music shows. Each week, during Morning Edition, we feature community interviews that discuss a broad range of topics, including safety, child care, public health, gardening, local events, and volunteer opportunities. We also cover important local meetings, such as City Council, Borough Assembly, and school board sessions. During election periods, we host candidate forums and encourage community members to call in with their questions. All of our content is available on-air, featured on our website, and shared on Facebook and Twitter, as well as streamed directly from our website.
