KSMC (89.5 FM) is a radio station located on the campus of Saint Mary's College of California in Moraga. It transmits at 89.5 on the FM frequency with a power output of 800 watts, and since 2012, it has also been available for online streaming. Established in 1975, KSMC is operated entirely by students. Student DJs can showcase their music during various school activities, including barbecues, club meetings, and community gatherings.

Following practice on a Thursday afternoon the last week of April, Saint Mary's sophomore infielder Sam Buckley was asked what she'll remember most ten to 20 years from now about her record-breaking 2025 season. One of her two responses, naturally, was her 13th home run of the year, a solo shot to right-center in the Gaels' 7–3 win at Oregon State on April 27.

    Don’t let our serene campus fool you—at Saint Mary’s College, there is always plenty afoot. Just ask any Gael who has attended an electrifying basketball game at the University Credit Union Pavilion, joined a glow-in-the-dark spin class at the Joseph L. Alioto Recreation Center, or belted it out during a karaoke night at the 1928 Pub.     Hoping to return to defend their national championship crown, the Gaels took to the rugby pitch in Berkeley on Saturday to face archrival Cal in the Collegiate Rugby National Semifinals. The Golden Bears got out in front early, and Saint Mary’s fought hard to retake the lead. But on this day it was not to be: The match went to Cal, 38–27. Saint Mary’s and Cal came into the match ranked the top two teams in the west by Goff Rugby Report, with the Gaels at No. 5 and the Bears at No. 4.

    Disappointed but not discouraged, the Saint Mary's Gaels returned from Las Vegas to the East Bay last Wednesday morning, intent on using the days before Selection Sunday as time to improve ahead of their NCAA Tournament opener on March 21. The Gaels (28–5) lost 58–51 to Gonzaga in an odd West Coast Conference Tournament final at the Orleans Arena on Tuesday night.
