KTTU-FM HD3 (Lubbock, TX)

KTTU-FM, also known as "Double T 97.3," is a radio station that broadcasts in the Lubbock area. Initially, it operated under the call sign KLZK on the 104.3 frequency. On March 30, 2008, KLZK-FM changed its frequency with its sister station, KSTQ-FM. The station first went on air in 1961 as KPLA (FM) in Plainview, Texas, and initially ran independently from its sister station, KVOP (AM). In 1976, KPLA increased its power to 100,000 watts at a height of 500 feet, and at that time, it changed its call sign to KATX.
