KUTI (1460 AM) is a radio station that delivers sports content to the Yakima region in Washington, USA. Currently, it is owned by Townsquare Media and serves the entire Yakima Valley area. The station broadcasts programs from ESPN Radio. The 1460 frequency was initially used by KIMA, which began broadcasting on October 19, 1944. KUTI originally started on the 980 frequency, owned by Wally Nelskog, and played rock 'n' roll music. Before its transition to the 1460 frequency, KUTI was known as KMWX and featured a country-western format. The 980 kHz frequency is now identified as KTCR.
