    By Noah Grant / Sports Reporter / Sioux Falls, S.D. -It was heartbreak on the diamond after the final out on Friday as the St. Cloud State baseball team saw their season come to an end after losing 16-11 to the University of Sioux Falls.  It was the Huskies second loss in three days to the Cougars, and it was a rollercoaster ride from start to finish as the two combined for 27 runs, 28 hits, and five home runs. The lead would change hands five different times in the game.

    By Carl Goenner / Sports Director / @Carl_Goenner / St. Cloud, Minn. -On Friday, May the St. Cloud Crush boys lacrosse team was defeated 12-7 by the BEcker Bulldogs. Freshman Evan Heesen led the Bulldogs with 6 goals. Becker started the scouring early and the Crush answered shortly after. The Bulldogs then added two more goals in the first quarter and the Crush trailed 3-1 after one. Attackman Barrett Flaherty scored early in the second quarter to get the crush back within one.

    By Noah Grant / Sports Reporter / Sioux Falls, S.D.-The St. Cloud State baseball team staved off elimination on Thursday evening, defeating the Wayne State Wildcats 19-5 at The Birdcage in Sioux Falls.  The Huskies offense scored in six different innings while getting dominant pitching from Cael Kolacia in the win.  SCSU wasted no time getting on the board, scoring three times in the first on four hits, including triples from Eric Bello and Wilmis Castro.

    By Noah Grant / Sports Reporter / Sioux Falls, S.D.-In a must-win game on Thursday, the St. Cloud State Huskies came through with a 9-7 win over the University of Mary in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  After losing the first game of the NSIC Tournament on Wednesday, the Huskies backs were against the wall heading into the matchup against the Marauders. St. Cloud State turned to junior Bryce Brassfield to get the start, and the righthander responded with his best start of his Huskies career.

    By Noah Grant / Sports Reporter / Sioux Falls, S.D.-The St. Cloud State baseball team opened the NSIC Tournament with a 10-2 loss against the University of Sioux Falls Cougars on Wednesday. Home runs proved to be the difference in the contest as the Cougars scored seven of their 10 runs via the long ball.  Frankie Volkers got the start on the mound for St. Cloud, and the righthander lasted three and a third innings on the mound while allowing five runs.
