By Noah Grant / Sports Reporter / St. Cloud, Minn. -The St. Cloud State baseball team split their doubleheader against the Winona State Warriors on Tuesday at Joe Faber Field. The series marked the final two home games of the season for the Huskies. In game one, St. Cloud opened the scoring early, scoring all five of their runs across the first three innings. In the first, Liam Moreno and Eric Bello singled to open the game.

The Huskies who have received the honors are as follows;Reese Holzhueter 2025 NSIC All-Conference 1st Team. For the second year in a row, Reese Holzhueter received NSIC All Conference 1st Team honors. The Senior Outfielder’s 82 hits ranks her #6 in the nation and leads the NSIC.

By Carl Goenner / Sports Director / @Carl_Goenner / St. Cloud, Minn. -The St. Cloud Crush were defeated by the Sartell/Sauk Rapids Storm & Sabres 8-2 on April 22, 2025. Dylan Fath scored a hat trick for Sartell/Sauk Rapids while St. Cloud’s Barrett Flaherty earned one goal and one assist. The two teams looked evenly matched in the first few minutes of the game, But Sartell/Sauk Rapids soon took control.

By Carl Goenner / Sports Director / @Carl_Goenner / St. Cloud, Minn. -The St. Cloud State baseball team was defeated 3-16 by the Wayne State Wildcats on Saturday April 19. Max Heard had four RBIs for the Wildcats while Carson Obrecht struck out five Husky batters. The Huskies had a rough start, giving up a double and two singles in the first inning. An error from the Huskies at second on a Kaden Young single led to the Wildcats scoring three runs.

By Carl Goenner / Sports Director / Carl_Goenner / St. Cloud, Minn-On April 18, the St. Cloud State softball team split their series against the MSU Moorhead Dragons. St. Cloud’s pitcher Macy Clark had five strikeouts on the day while Moorhead’s Brynna Farman finished with six. The Dragons started out very well in the first game, striking out two of the first four Husky batters. After Moorhead’s Natalie Gonzalez doubled, Macy Clark walked in the first run of the game.
