On this day in 1978, Ringo Starr’s TV special, Ringo aired. The musical version of The Prince and the Pauper featuring the drummer playing both characters, Ringo and Ognir Rrats. George Harrison narrated it. The made for TV special also starred many 70s heavy hitters like Art Carney, Carrie Fisher, Vincent Price, and John Ritter. It's so bad it's good. Released on this day in 1971, ‘L.A. Woman’ is the sixth studio album by The Doors. The last to be recorded with Jim Morrison, who would be dead three months later, it featured two of the band’s biggest hit singles, “Love Her Madly” and “Riders on the Storm”,” as well as the title track. Released on this day in 1964, The Rolling Stones is the debut studio album by The Rolling Stones. Upon its release,the album became one of 1964's biggest sellers in the UK, staying at number one for twelve weeks. The majority of the songs on the album reflect the band's love for R&B music. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were fledgling songwriters during early 1964, contributing only one original composition to the album: "Tell Me (You're Coming Back)".

Stevie Nicks is hitting the road this summer!The solo shows are going to coincide with her stadium concerts with Billy Joel that starts in August. The new shows will run through October, with a pair of concerts with Joel after that. Stevie's upcoming shows begin on August 12th in Boston, and she will play a half-dozen dates over the next two months in Tornoto and Tampa amongst other cities before wrapping up in Oklahoma City.

Released on this day in 1975, Toys In The Attic is the third studio album by Aerosmith, Featuring the singles "Sweet Emotion" and "Walk This Way" the album became the band's most commercially successful studio LP in the US, with eight million copies sold. Steven Tyler said his original idea for the album cover was a teddy bear sitting in the attic with its wrist cut and stuffing spread across the floor. They decided, in the end, to put all of the animals in instead.
