LeftWord Books, located in New Delhi, is a publishing company dedicated to showcasing leftist perspectives in India and South Asia. Our focus is on producing insightful and analytical literature across various topics, with a particular emphasis on Marxist theory. We aim to represent the concerns of the working class and support movements for social change. Established in 1999, LeftWord also operates the May Day Bookstore and Café, situated next to Studio Safdar, a theater space. LeftWord Books functions as the publishing arm of Naya Rasta Publishers Pvt Ltd.
