Live Design

Live Design is a monthly digital publication owned by Penton that focuses on the newest developments and equipment in the live entertainment sector, including theatre, film, concerts, opera, ballet, and architectural entertainment. It began as Lighting Dimensions before merging with Theatre Crafts. Up until December 2013, it was available in print, but it has transitioned to a free app that offers monthly editions for both Apple and Android devices. The magazine targets both budding and experienced designers specializing in lighting, audio, projection, and set design. In addition to the magazine, Live Design operates its own website. It is also connected to the LDI trade show and organizes the Live Design Master Classes and the Envision Symposium.
