    Metal trailblazers, Machine Head, helped Toronto get a kick-start to it’s week as they performed an electrifying set at History on Monday night with In Flames and Lacuna Coil. Italian gothic metal band, Lacuna Coil, opened up the show and took the crowd by storm with their ‘dueling’ vocalists, Andrea Ferro and Cristina Scabbia (technically they were 2nd on the bill, but I unfortunately didn’t make it on time for Unearth due to rush hour traffic as they hit the stage at 6pm).

    Franz Ferdinand brought their Human Fear tour to the stage at HISTORY in Toronto Tuesday night (I wonder if they ever thought that they would end up being more popular than the Archduke of Austria). Flying in from the 401 fresh after playing in Montreal the night before. It was the last show of the tour and the fans were possibly unaware of just how much fun they were about to have. An engaging performance by Telescreens got fans stirred up and ready to throw down.
