The Londonderry Middle School officially unveiled the new softball field behind the school last week. School officials and staff attended the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Tuesday, April 15 where the school principal William Van Bennekum spoke briefly, Athletic Director Jimmy Lauzon cut the ribbon and School Board Chair Bob Slater threw out the first pitch before the game between Londonderry and the Hudson Memorial Colts began.

The Londonderry High School Girls Lacrosse team had a tough 0-2 start in week one of the spring season, but bounced back in week two, finishing at 2-2. In the season start, on Tuesday, April 15 the LHS squad suffered a 4-11 loss to the Bishop Guertin Cardinals in Nashua. Three day later, during the Lancers home opener, on Friday, April 18, Londonderry lost in a tough 11-4 battle with the Bedford Bull Dogs.

The Londonderry High School Track and Field teams faced Timberlane and Pinkerton in Derry on Tuesday, April 22, with both the girls’ and boys’ teams placing second. The lancers boys’ team scored a 69, behind the Astros that tallied 128. The Owls trailed at a distant third with 13-points. The Lancers girls’ were a bit closer, with Pinkerton accumulating 89-points for first, Londonderry had 64-points in second and Timberlane scored 29-points for third.
