No-one ever wants to be the cop. After all, where’s the fun in sticking to the law in an open world filled with the freedom to do what you want? My first job on the beat consisted of issuing parking tickets. As much as it’s part of being a police officer, it still made me cringe knowing how much of a jobsworth I was being. Someone has to do it, I guess.

At PAX East Nexon held a livestream revealing loads of new information for The First Descendent, including a new crossover with Square Enix and NieR: Automata. A whole host of details were revealed by The First Descendant Executive Producer Beomjun Lee and Creative Director Minseok Joo, though it has to be said, details on the much wanted crossover for NieR: Automata are a little thin on the ground. Firstly, well, we know it’s now happening.

PM Studios and developer TeamSuneat has announced a June 6th release date for action-roguelite Dragon is Dead, which will be released on PC via Steam. Bethesda has gone big when it comes to DOOM: The Dark Ages, and has created a rather impressive “Slayeux Tapestry” exhibition, opened by Olivier “The Dutch Giant” Richters in full Doom armour. The week-long exhibition called “Welcome to the Dark Ages” is viewable at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds. It was designed by illustrator Simon De Thuillières.. “It was a huge honour to reimagine the brutal saga of the DOOM Slayer through this medieval lens,” says illustrator Simon De Thuillières.

Over at PAX East 2025, Gearbox and 2K has shared some new info abut DLC coming to Risk of Rain 2, called Alloyed Collective – the third major expansion.
