Koch was reported missing by an acquaintance on Thursday, June 19, 2025, after she failed to return home.  Koch was last seen on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at approximately 8:21 a.m., near Vineyard Street in Wailuku. Koch does not have a phone or a vehicle.

    Two men suffered injuries in an alleged assault reported early Saturday morning in Māʻalaea, police said. The incident was reported at around 4:20 a.m. on June 14. The victims, a 24-year-old Kīhei man and a 62-year-old Lahaina man were allegedly assaulted by a group of three to four unknown males near Slip 22 at Māʻalaea Boat Harbor. During the assault, both victims were repeatedly punched and kicked in the head and body, resulting in various injuries, according to police.
