Developed by Bozeman-based Virga Capital, a real estate investment and development firm, the hotel features 100 guest rooms and suites, a fitness center, an indoor pool, outdoor patio with fire pits, and 810-square-foot meeting room for small gatherings.

Many new projects are on the horizon at The Ranch Events ComplexThe Ranch Events Complex, Loveland’s largest venue, has several proposed upgrades on the horizon, including the construction of a convention center, a 150- to 300-room hotel, and a 130,000-square-foot event plaza at Blue Arena. The existing Great Lawn also will be expanded with the addition of a 2,500-seat outdoor amphitheater.

In late May, event tech company Cvent, based in Tysons Corner, Viriginia, released its annual lists of the top meeting destinations, hotels, venues, and suppliers worldwide. The lists are issued regionally for the following area categories: North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East & Africa, and, for the first time this year, Latin America & Caribbean. Cvent also unveiled a new list category, the “Top Venues and Vendors” list, which analyzes data from the Cvent Vendor Marketplace.

In mid-May, Meet Minneapolis named Abby Poeske as vice president of destination development and public affairs. In this role, Poeske will oversee the implementation of the new 10-year destination master plan as well as lead the organization’s government relations and community engagement work. She replaces Bill Deef, who recently retired from Meet Minneapolis after 40 years with the organization.
