West Long Branch, NJ – Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are basically tied in the race for Pennsylvania’s electoral votes, according to the Monmouth (“Mon-muth”) University Poll. This result comes even though Trump is seen as being more in line than Harris with the Keystone State’s political views. Harris does best among high-propensity voters, while Trump’s path to victory relies on turning out enough low-propensity voters.

West Long Branch, NJ – Vice President Kamala Harris’s entry into the presidential race may have been a game-changer at the time, but there has been little significant movement since then. While Harris continues to hold slightly more support than former President Donald Trump among all voters nationwide, there is more than enough room for the outcome to go either way as a result of very small shifts in turnout.

West Long Branch, NJ – The election in New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District between incumbent Tom Kean, Jr. and challenger Sue Altman is extremely close according to the Monmouth (“Mon-muth”) University Poll. Kean has the edge on a number of issues, including the economy, immigration, and crime while Altman has a large advantage on abortion policy. Overall, voters are somewhat more likely to see Kean’s political views as being in step with the district than Altman’s.

Inflation is a dominant issue in the race, according to the Monmouth (“Mon-muth”) University Poll, but so are economic growth, abortion, and immigration . The mix of specific issues that are seen as important to individual voters correlates highly with their vote choice.
