I never thought I'd find myself squealing with joy over a handful of Crocs Jibbitz, but that's exactly what happened over the weekend. Ever since Crocs became one of the world's biggest footwear trends, I've hated them. I lightly bullied my friends who wore them, I puzzled over the appeal of a shoe full of holes, and I was frankly horrified by the shape of the things.

It’s a tale that’s “absolutely flabbergasted” and “floored” the guy. And fair enough - it’s a tale worthy of a blockbuster movie, starring Chris Pratt as the sea-faring swipe card.

Rather than handing out extra cookies, or letting them watch movies all night, one grandma is going viral for going above and beyond for their grandkid. She lives too far away from the little one so decided to film herself reading story books and share the videos on YouTube. Sarah Penewit posted footage of one of the videos of her mum reading out a book to the baby and it is just adorable.

One of the most unique walkthrough experiences ever just went up in Auckland’s Aotea Square. Arboralis Luminarium is a massive, inflatable “labyrinth of light and colour” which the kids can run around in and you can wander wide-eyed while trying not to get lost. Patterns in the plastic walls and ceilings are lit up by the sun outside, making for rooms of colourful and gorgeous light. Unbelievably, it’s all hand-crafted.
